Framing:
This photo is an example of framing. Framing is used to focal the main object and therefore the viewer is automatically attracted to the focal point of the photo. The vocal point in this image is the man behind the glass door although toni the female model is also been framed by the window and the door frame. Therefore there is a triplicate framing in this image.
This photo is another example of framing. This photo is not the best example of framing as it the view wouldn't be drawn to Toni first. To improve this i could have used a frame were the background is plain therefore giving more emphasis on Toni and the framing of her. All my photo were in focus as to capture this image i had to concentrate and ensure she was in fact been framed as the photos i took had multi frames as seen in the image above. For the framing images i did not use zoom as the location and the background played a huge role in creating the effect of the picture. I find my photos are good quality but I could have found better locations to emphasis what i was trying to capture.
Use of Lines :
We use the use of line to emphasize the object. We use line to direct the viewer to the main focal point of the photo.
This photo is not well composed as the subject is at the end of the line and the use of this line attracts the viewers attention to the park rather than the girl. It is also not face on and therefore there is very little emphasis on the photo.
This was the next photo I took it was an improvement as she is going in the same direction as the wall is pointing in although it still does not create the effect i was trying to create.
This is the best example of the use of lines as the camera is directly on the line which causes the viewer to turn their attention to the main focal point of this image which is the energy can. It also give the effect that the image is longer.
Once again i did not use zoom for this photo as the backdrop played an important role in creating this effect
Use of Tilt:
We use tilt to empasise power. If we tilt up then the camera is below the person and this creates a powerfull effect suggesting the person in the image is of great importance. The use of tilt down in photos is when the camera is above the object and the obejct is below the camera. This creates the look of powerless or being inferior. This image is an example of a tilt down
This is an example of zoom as i wanted to capture the detail of the leaves and the vain in the leaves in contrast to the pale sink and blue eyes of Toni.
